SOURCING
Research, identify, and profile new suppliers and factories as potential sources for both new and existing products
Monitor global macroeconomic conditions and changes in supplier source base
Partners with Product Development team members and Merchant team to consolidate raw materials utilizations and projections
Assess category sourcing risk profile and recommend necessary changes to supplier base
Ensure supplier timely on-boarding and supplier acceptance processes
Coordinate supplier training of Academy s operational and compliance standards
Obtain costing from multiple suppliers for selected items or programs
Conduct final product cost negotiation with suppliers to meet established items design requirements and margin targets
PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
Forecast and plan production for all items in category
Work with suppliers, product development, and merchant team to troubleshoot production capacity and scheduling issues
Monitor supplier work in process (WIP) and follow up on incomplete or late status
Problem solve production and delivery issues
Ensure that all requests for delivery requests pre-ponements, post-ponements are executed as per vendor s abilities.
Work with Merchants, Global Sourcing teams, Logistics team, Supply Chain team, Quality Assurance team, Vendor Compliance to ensure that all questions/issues from vendors are solved
Ensure that assigned vendors meet Ship-On-Time Requirements.
Assess and report on supplier performance; administer supplier chargebacks
Creates supplier s corrective action plans and ensures execution.
Some travel required
Required to learn company policies, procedures, and safety rules.

Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required
At least five years related work experience required
Knowledge of sourcing and manufacturing processes for various products
Experience identifying and profiling supplier capabilities
Experience conducting supplier negotiations
Preparation and analysis of detailed item cost breakdowns
Forecasting, analyzing KPI s
Communication effective listening, speaking, and writing
Computer Microsoft Office advanced Excel and Power Point skills
Interpersonal, organization, prioritization, problem solving skills
Basic knowledge of import compliance including tariff classification and Consumer Product Safety
Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
